At MuTiefe, every artwork is handcrafted and made to order using premium materials, including carved wood and aluminium. Due to the custom nature and production costs of our pieces, we maintain a strict refund and return policy to ensure fairness and sustainability.

 

1. All Sales Are Final

All purchases made through www.mutiefe.com are considered final once payment has been processed. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

• Change of mind

• Incorrect choice of artwork or sizing

• Subjective dissatisfaction with style, colour, or visual preference

• Minor variations in finish, carving depth, or colour tone due to natural material differences or lighting

We encourage customers to read product descriptions carefully and contact us with any questions before ordering.

 

2. Exceptions for Damaged or Incorrect Items

We will consider a replacement or partial refund only if:

• The item arrives damaged due to shipping mishandling, or

• The item delivered is significantly different from what was ordered (e.g. wrong artwork sent)

To be eligible for a claim:

• You must contact us at hq@mutiefe.com within 7 days of delivery.

• You must include clear photographic evidence of the damage or error, including packaging photos if relevant.

• All items must be returned in their original packaging and unused condition, if a return is approved.

Approved refunds (if applicable) will be processed back to the original payment method. We reserve the right to offer store credit or a replacement at our discretion.

 

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless a shipping error was clearly our fault. If you are returning an approved item, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

 

4. Manufacturing Tolerance & Artistic Variation

Each MuTiefe piece is unique and handcrafted. Natural variations in materials (such as grain, surface texture, or patina), and small differences in CNC carving depth or surface finish are not considered defects.

We do not guarantee pixel-perfect uniformity between preview images and the final physical product due to:

• Material properties of wood or aluminium

• Lighting and photography differences

• The nature of CNC carving and manual finishing

 

5. Limited Liability

Our liability for any product purchased is strictly limited to the purchase price of that product. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including delays, wall mounting issues, or aesthetic expectations that fall outside of the product description.

 

6. Custom Orders

If you have commissioned a fully customised piece (e.g. custom design based on reference image), you acknowledge that:

• You have reviewed and approved the draft or concept prior to production

• Refunds or reworks will not be issued unless the final item is materially different from the approved concept
